A beautiful setting, approached from a long, sweeping, tree lined driveway to an attractive 18th century building entrance. Hatfeild Hall is the perfect venue for your wedding. With rooms of varying sizes it can accommodate groups of all sizes and our excellent on site catering facilities offers either standard menus or food tailored to your needs.

All events are organised and managed by an experienced hospitality coordinator who will also be with you on the day. Hatfeild Hall is within easy reach of Wakefield and the surrounding towns, and is also easily accessible from all the major road networks nearby (M1, A1, M62) with a large car park available for your guests.

The setting of the Hall couldn’t be bettered, from following the driveway, with the 18-hole Golf Course on each side, passing the impressive fountain on your left, the view suddenly opens up to reveal the majestic 18th Century Hall. Its tranquility is breath-taking and will certainly leave an impression on your guests. This is all before you have even set foot inside the building itself. The Hall has much history to it, including the fabled Mulberry Bush opposite its entrance, where folklore has it that a cutting from it was replanted in Wakefield Prison and the rhyme “Here we go round the Mulberry Bush” originated.

For civil ceremonies and civil partnerships, Hatfeild Hall provides a glorious setting from which to entertain your guests on your wedding day. Hatfeild Hall has three historic rooms all licensed to stage the ceremony on your special day.

The Annabel and the Mulberry rooms are tastefully decorated and restored to their original features. These can accommodate up to 40 guests. The Hatfeild Suite which has French doors overlooking the golf course, can accommodate 100 guests. Wedding reception rooms not to be missed.

The Annabel and Mulberry rooms are ideal for smaller weddings for up to 20, both create an elegant and intimate setting. The Hatfeild Suite can accommodate 120 guests for the wedding breakfast and for the evening reception it can accommodate up to 195 guests.

The rooms are light and neutral and will complement your chosen colour scheme. When decorated all the rooms have a magical look and atmosphere about them and make the perfect venue for your wedding.

Fine food is an important ingredient at any wedding celebration; we offer a wide selection of menus created by our award-winning chef using the freshest ingredients and, wherever possible, locally sourced suppliers.

Once you have confirmed interest, we will hold your chosen date for 14 days when you will then be required to confirm your booking with a non-refundable deposit of £500.00 and a completed wedding contract. From this time, you can be assured that all those involved in creating your special day at Hatfeild Hall will be working to ensure that you and your guests have that memorable day to hold forever exclusive to your party.

Our main function facility with a private bar area and large dance floor covers some 140 square meters. The delightful French windows open out onto a large patio area and overlooking a lawned area the dramatic 18th hole on the golf course. Fully air conditioned, the Hatfeild Suite is able to seat 120 guests for your formal meal and 195 informally for your evening reception.
